At the ItinerArte Gallery in Venice, the Leblon Art Experience project continued, bringing together artists from around the world. On Saturday, September 2nd, the opening of “Winners 2023” took place, an exhibition of original and captivating jewelry from the “A Rara” collection, created by Brazilian designer Carla Abras through her brand Carla Abras Free Spirit.
The jewelry, handcrafted in brass or silver and plated with 18k gold or rhodium, was adorned with stones, natural mother-of-pearl, zircons, leather, and colorful engravings.
The designer described the “A Rara” collection as a symbolic flight that narrates Brazilian origins in a blend with the country’s contemporary artistry. Through the fusion of craftsmanship and technology, the jewelry illustrated the versatility of Brazilian art and design, with references to the cultural and historical richness of Brazil.
