He worked for the Venice Biennale (1984-1997), was an artistic consultant for the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation (1998-2003), and has been the director of the Museum of Landscape since 2008. He is a professor at the Lu.C.C.A. Center of Contemporary Art and has collaborated with the Veneto Institute of Sciences, Letters, and Arts (2006-2011).
