Magazzino Gallery di Palazzo Contarini Polignac, Venice
21.01 – 04.02.2020

The exhibition “Niñez Rubata” by Israeli artist Patricia Shira Mano Tolentino, inspired by portraits of children who were victims of the Holocaust, was showcased at the Magazzino Gallery in Palazzo Contarini Polignac, Venice. The initiative, part of the commemorations for Holocaust Remembrance Day, took place from January 21 to February 4, 2020. The project, inspired by photographs of the Warsaw Ghetto, led to the creation of a wall of oil portraits, aimed at preserving memory and combating antisemitism and Holocaust denial. During the event, a catalog was presented, and several guests spoke, including curator Roberta Semeraro and Holocaust survivor Lia Finzi Federici.
