The Press Office had the pleasure of collaborating on several projects with the Pushkin Museum in Moscow in 2017 and 2019.
The Pushkin Museum in Moscow presented the exhibition “Man as Bird (Images of Journeys)” as part of the official parallel program of the 2017 Venice Biennale. The exhibition, hosted at Palazzo Soranzo Van Axel from May 13 to September 5, featured works by 14 artists and marked the first collaboration between the Russian museum and the Biennale. The exhibition, curated by Marina Loshak and Olga Shishko, explored the interplay between art, optics, and travel, and their role in understanding the world and in the invention of photography and video.
